I joined Brillouin Energy to run the electrical engineering department which rapidly evolved into building the operational backbone of the company. The role expanded quickly past its original scope into engineering leadership, operations, manufacturing, lab management, organizational alignment, and direct executive support.
I grew and directly supervised a team of 12, including managers across multiple disciplines, and ran several technical programs in parallel. I directed more than $5M in lab and manufacturing infrastructure deployment, including finishing construction of the company's manufacturing facility, and the operational systems I established produced roughly $1M in avoided costs. Alongside the physical build-out I put in place the project management structures and cross-functional communication frameworks the company had been operating without.
